Post Office Projects
Archinetics, Inc. has completed over 800 projects for the USPS through-out Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, over $80 million in total construction costs over the past 22 years. We completed 4 - 5 yr. IQ term A/E contracts for the ASO in Central Florida and 4 - 5 yr. IQ term A/E contracts for the SEFSO in Atlanta, Ga., with total fees exceeding $12.5m.
We have completed a vast array of projects ranging from Hvac repairs and replacements, to parking additions, building additions and renovations, reroofing, H/C Accessibility Compliance, security systems, electrical upgrades, and new buildings from 2000 sf to 50,000 sf.

New Sanford Retail Post Office: The above colored elevations are of a downtown retail strip center upgrade project that will be the new home for the Sanford Main Post Office. Archinetics worked very closely with the owner, the USPS and the City of Sanford, and a designated Blue Ribbon Committee to coordinate the design within the budget constraints for the center upgrade. Below is the finished project.
This was the second phase of the USPS vacating the old existing inadequate Post Office building. The first phase was a new Carrier Annex located in an industrial office complex pictured below.

Kissimmee Carrier Annex: This is the third approx. 20,000 sf carrier annex prototype we completed for the USPS in the Orlando metro area. Several were constructed in Georgia and another in for Palm City in Martin County, Florida.
New Retail Postal Store, Palm Beach, Florida: Renovation of a vintage retail building in posh Palm Beach for a new Retail postal store. The project design is unique as the ceiling grid was left open to view a restored Misner wood ceiling above.
New Retail Post Office, Lake Park, Florida: The Town of Lake Park needed a development example of how the existing strip center buildings in their recently redeveloped downtown corridor could be done. They made the bold move of buying one of the buildings and then convincing the USPS to relocate their Retail Post Office to it. We worked for the Town to renovate the shell building and for the USPS for the Retail Post Office plans. The project was completed in Sept., 2001.
New Retail Kiosk, West Palm Beach, Florida: We developed a prototype replacement kiosk to replace existing older free-standing retail kiosks at two locations.
New Sanderson, Florida Post Office: Archinetics produced the conceptual prototype drawings, reviewed the developer's plans and performed construction admin. on this Prototype 40A Small Std. Building new Post Office for the small, rural community of Sanderson, Florida.
